St Francis of Assisi’s first workshop presentation
In September 2018 the foundation, in collaboration with The Right Start (www.rightstartTT.com), facilitated ‘Up, Up and Away’, a presentation on Augmentative and Alternative Communication for children with complex communication needs. In keeping with the foundation’s core purpose of making such services, tools and support easily accessible to those who need it, the workshop was completely free to parents, caregivers and teachers of children with special needs. It featured Ms Krista Hadeed, MS CCC-SLP, a Florida State licensed and American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She serves the special needs pediatric population, with a special focus on Augmentative and Alternative Communication.
